In the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and lost in the daily life and responsibilities, while the world seems to be getting louder and busier, it also making it harder for us to find the emotional space, and connection with ourselves. This refreshing wellness retreat is an invitation for you to slow down in your life, pull over from the busy path, and allow your mind, body and spirit to be nourished so you can reflect on your own personal journey. Turn off your phone, bring your backpack, and embrace this inward journey with Christy and a small group of like-hearted people, unplug your mind, and merge with lively vibration through daily yoga, hiking, dining, connecting, and meditating in this serene environment, from sunrise to moonlight.
While you are here, we will explore the nearby three historic towns with our local guides in Tuscany, learn the culture, history and its resouces of food and beauty, you will learn how the famous producer grows, cares, and produces authentic extra virgin olive oil, and taste it like you have never had olive oil before. Our retreat location, Montemelino is a family-owned oil and wine farm of around 60 hectares, located on the northern hill of Lake Trasimeno, between Umbria and Tuscany, around 300 meters above sea level. Imagine waking up facing a breathtaking view of the valley and Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. This magical week in Tuscany offers you a chance to soak up great vibrations, reflect, and relax in a beautiful setting. Fuel your body with nutritious meals made by a local Mama chef with fresh seasonal ingredients, open yourself up to new experiences. Spend a week in nature, experience relaxation and refreshment, and allow the layers of stress, worry, and concern to fall away, letting the "self" come forward, breathe and shine.

Starting in 2023, Yoga in DeMun has been delightfully hosting rejuvenating and nourishing retreats in the heart of Italy. Led by Christy, and hosted by Lucia and her wonderful local team! Montemelino has been a vineyard and olive grove for generations in the Caterelli family. Montemelino is owned and operated by Sabina and Pier Caterelli who decided to leave the city life to fully focus on their family’s tradition of producing organic wines and olive oil. Montemelino has two tuscan style villas containing 7 apartments. The yoga space can hold 12-15 guests comfortably and has a breathtaking view over the vineyard.
Each apartment comes with its own working kitchen, bathrooms & showers, bedrooms, and some have a terrace. A salt water pool also overlooks the vineyard with stunning views of the rolling hills and lake Trasimeno, portraying the classic Italian charm. Breakfasts and dinners will be served by the Montemelino staff with their amazing home-made Italian cuisine that will make you feel like you have an Italian mother feeding you for the week.

Pienza UNESCO Italy - Medieval street in the town.
Located in the famous Val d’Orcia, Pienza is known as the “Ideal Renaissance Town” thanks to the vision of Enea Silvio Piccolomini (later Pope Pius II), who was able to influence the transformation of his home village of Corsignano into the Pienza that we know and love today. There are several fun things to do in Pienza, ranging from historic buildings to tour to a very famous filming location to visit, but there’s no doubt that the peaceful atmosphere and incredible beauty are the biggest draws for visiting Pienza.
We fell in love with this UNESCO-recognized town, and highly recommend a visit!

Cortona is one of the most beautiful and fascinating hill towns of Tuscany and Italy. The origins of this small and suggestive village go very far back in time, and you can still admire part of its imposing Etruscan walls. High, on top of a steep hill, Cortona offers one of the most breathtaking and vastest panorama of all Tuscany.
