Here, your mind is free from thinking and embraces tranquility. Through slowing down, your mind, body, and spirit reclaim their clarity and vitality naturally. Guided by ancient wisdom, you understand the journey of life on Earth.

A Retreat for Clarity and Renewal

This retreat is designed for high-achieving, busy parents, and anyone need time and space in their life to focus on themselves

Reconnect with themselves. People whose inner voice has been "buried and compensated away" by the demands of career, family, and responsibility. The retreat offers a full stop — time, space, and attention to rediscover what's been quieted.

Find clarity, vision, and direction. Not through more books or practices, but through genuine presence and slowing down enough to hear what's already inside.

Experience a life shift. For people who sense "there is more in life" and want their life to align with who they are, not just what they do.

Here is what the journey looks like:

We will meet and pick you up in Cusco airport around 11:00 a.m. on July 11th, then we go together into the Sacred Valley — your first glimpse of the Andes will take your breath away.

Our home based for most of the journey is
Munay Sonqo, a beautiful retreat center built from natural stone and timber, nestled in the heart of the Sacred Valley, and be take care by this group of beautiful people, and Lara, our beautiful border collie is the most famous guide in Munay Sonqo!

The first four days are intentionally slow. The Andes sit at high altitude and the body needs time to arrive fully — not just physically, but in every way. During these days you will be gently invited into the rhythm of the Sacred Valley: a Despacho ceremony offering gratitude to Pachamama, Mother Earth; deep massage to help your mind and body release what they have been carrying; organic food grown and nourished by the local land; yoga, meditation, journaling, and genuine unhurried rest. These days are essential for your mind and body to meet with the presence of Andes. They prepare you for everything that follows.

On Days 4 and 5 we walk the Inca Trail — an 8-hour journey through ancient cloud forest and sacred ruins, arriving at Machu Picchu just as the sun begins to set. The same way the ancient Inca pilgrims did. The following morning we returned to the citadel at dawn, guided by our paqo and spiritual guide who know the land's vibration and energy. He will invite us to experience Machu Picchu not as tourists, but as human beings in relationship with something ancient and alive. He will guide us to feel the aliveness in the wind, the flowers, the path beneath our feet as you move. Throughout every day there is space — for yoga, meditation, massage, explore nearby waterfall, reflection, and simply being at ease.

On Days 9 and 10, the heart of our pilgrimage begins. We travel from the Sacred Valley toward Apu Ausangate— one of the most sacred mountains in the entire Andes with a sacred lagoon and hot spring. We will be guided by a locally respected Andean wisdom keeper Don Rufino Turpo, walking deeply into high mountain landscapes, have a ceremony by sacred lagoons, and learning their way of being in relationship with the natural world — the mountain, the river, the rock, the stars. This is the part of the journey that is hardest to describe in words, and the part that people carry with them longest after they return home.

This is a small group. I believe healing, nourish, and support transformation happens in a small way in natural pace, a lot of time to feel and being . Every person who joins this journey is someone who feels ready to go a little deeper — not just into Peru, but come home to yourself, and allow whatever need to unfold, transform, merge to arrive as you are.

Will’s Reflection

Back in January 2020, I was lucky to have a friend suggest that I reach out to Christy Lin for private yoga sessions. I had no idea what was to follow that year, and our sessions quickly became a refuge from the chaos and noise the I had previously allowed into my world. I spent the next several years focusing on this new practice of self discovery. When it came time to travel again, I knew what joining her and a small group of others for a deep dive into Peruvian culture and life was the right choice for my first trip and I signed up for the retreat in 2025.

Our time in Peru was spent with passionate locals.. farmers, teachers, shamans and guides, who shared their cosmology and spirituality along with importance of intention and ritual behind and before everything we did. Each experience brought new insight and connection with our gracious hosts and fellow group members. The majority of the retreat was spent at a beautiful property in the Sacred Valley, Munay Sonqo which serves as a comfortable base with spa, temple, and all kinds of cosy places to bask in the light and love of this special valley and her people.

Christy Lin is leading another retreat in July, 2026 that will go even deeper into local culture, including visit to Machu Picchu via the Inca Trail, a pilgrimage to sacred Mountain Apu Asangate, Ceremonies of Cacao, gratitude, sound healing, and a New moon night spent in the company of an Andean Astronomer.

I urge anyone on a journey of self-discovery and/or those seeking personal, heart nourishing presence/ presents consider joining this special group.

This retreat was transformative - a truly memorable experience enhanced by the other travelers, our trusted guides from Munay Sonqo and most importantly, our fearless leader Christy. When I booked this trip, I didn't know that it would precede a major change (new job, leaving behind toxic workplace) - but the timing was perfect, as my extended free time w/o a full-time job (5 weeks before the trip, followed by one week after) allowed me to focus-and appreciate the experience fully. More than one month later, I remain touched by the experience, and have been able to integrate those experiences once back to the daily grind. After the retreat, I’m better able to focus on the big picture (family, health), not get bogged down in the day-to-day minutiae (traffic jams, grocery store lines, minor squabbles with spouse). Being in such a profoundly spiritual place opened my eyes, heart and soul (even more) to the wonders of the universe - and the interconnected ties that bind us all to Mother Earth.

Meet Don Rufino Turpo, our Spiritual Guide, Pampamisayoq of Ausangate

We are honored to share this journey with Don Rufino Turpo, a respected Altomisayoq and spiritual guide from the community of Pacchanta, at the foothills of the sacred Apu Ausangate. Don Rufino comes from a family of Altomisayoq, Andean priests who have carried the sacred connection with the Apus (mountain spirits) and Pachamama (Mother Earth) for generations. Guided by ancestral wisdom, he serves as a bridge between the spiritual and natural worlds, bringing messages of harmony, gratitude, and respect for all life. With deep humility and presence, Don Rufino shares the living traditions of the Andes, reminding us that the mountains are not only majestic landscapes, but wise beings that teach us how to live in balance and reciprocity. His guidance and prayers invite us to walk this pilgrimage with open hearts, listening to the voice of the Earth and the spirit of the Andes.

The Apu Ausangate is the main mountain of the Andean World

The Apu Ausangate is the main mountain of the Andean world. He is the great Father who brings the family together. Everything revolves around the mystique and sponsorship of him. There resides an energy called Rual, which is the soul of everything created. My teachers told me that there are two slopes that derive from its center. The lloque path (left) and the paña path (right). The route of the Q’eros is the right path, and the Turpo lineage is the left current. We have the vision and the purpose of starting together an initiatory path in this knowledge and power transmissions in both lineages (Turpo and Q’ero) since both sources are very pure and complementary. We are called to be the bridges of this ancient wisdom to spread the seed of hope through our conscious walk. The path we are about to take will make us Pampamisayoq, man/woman-bridge (Mediator between the human world and the spiritual world).

Wastewater is filtered and reused through a natural reed bed system. Kitchen and garden waste is composted and returned to the organic farm. Paper and plastic are recycled. When you travel to Munay Sonqo, you make a difference in the Sacred Valley community

A portion of every retreat investment directly supports Sach'a Munay, a local non-profit that provides education in organic agriculture, child nutrition, and permaculture to over 130 families in the Sacred Valley. By being here, you are helping ensure that the Quechua community's traditional knowledge — of the land, of the seasons, of the sacred relationship between people and Earth — is not lost, but carried forward into the next generation. You are not just a traveler passing through. You become part of a living reciprocity, what the Andean people call Ayni — where what you receive and what you give are one and the same.

Christy Lin -‍ ‍Sacred Heart journey leader

This pilgrimage is a shedding of what no longer serves and a gentle opening to what is ready to emerge in your life. It is a homecoming—back to your heart, back to the earth, and back to the truth of who you are.

After many years of teaching yoga and meditation across the United States and Asia—and immersing myself in various wisdom traditions—I felt a deep calling to create experiences that go far beneath the surface of modern travel or quick getaway retreats. I wanted to offer life experiences that reconnect us with the earth, with ancient lineages and wisdom, have an immediate connection with the local communities, and with the truest parts of ourselves.

I envisioned a space where we step outside the looping patterns of daily life and rediscover who we are when we feel free from the layers of conditioning—where reflection, presence, and inner clarity naturally arise. Spending a month in Peru truly changed me profoundly. Not only did I feel an immediate sense of home, but I also discovered powerful parallels between Andean teachings and the ancient Chinese wisdom I grew up with—the sun and the moon, yin and yang, the harmony between heaven, earth, and human. This unexpected resonance opened something deep within me, and I knew in my heart I was meant to return and continue learning.

Our 11-day Sacred Heart Pilgrimage has been lovingly woven from my own lived experiences, the devotion of our Peruvian team, and the guidance of many spiritual leaders (They are like the moving wisdom!) It is a path designed for your return—to your heart, to vitality, clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of aliveness.

We invite you and your loved ones to walk this path of Ancient Inca remembering: to be held by the mountains, guided by local spiritual leaders, embraced by the community, and awakened by the song of the rivers and the stillness of the sacred lagoons.

We looking forward to welcoming you in Peru!
