Radical Relaxation with Healing Touch

Radical relaxation is a powerful way to support health and well-being as the seasons shift.
Two gifted providers, Patricia Joye and Lindsay Mallers, will dedicate two hours to offering long held restorative yoga poses,
gentle touch, guided breath work and meditation. Heart openers, twists, inversions, and forward bends are enhanced
by the wise use of props, artfully placed to encourage deeper relaxation in each pose.
Hand on massage enhances greater release, and a period of guided meditation is woven into each pose.
Good to Know:
Wear layered, loose clothing free of binding or compression.
Bring your familiar props that are non-bulky & easily folded or handled, i.e. thick towel, soft pillow.

Patricia :I practice yoga so that I can experience my life with a Healthy and Comfortable body, mind and spirit. I teach so that I can facilitate others in creating and maintaining a personal yoga practice for those same reasons.
Patricia was born and raised in The Lou. As a 20-something she relocated, calling California home for most of her adult life. She has practiced, studied, and taught yoga for over thirty years, instructing a varied and diverse community. Her practice and teaching style has evolved thanks to the influence of her many generous and wise students, as well as a host of gifted, inspired teachers who have shared with her their passion, originality and kindness. She completed yoga teacher training at the legendary Center for Yoga in Hollywood (now a Yogaworks franchise) under the tutelage of longtime Los Angeles yoga teacher Diana Beardsley. Patricia is also a veteran ACE Certified Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer with an emphasis on Holistic Fitness. Her style encourages participants to feel safe and nurtured while cultivating self-awareness, curiosity and receptivity. When not on the mat, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, hitting the gym, taking long dog walks and having good having good hair days.
She is grateful for and welcomes all yoga styles and faith traditions and she hopes your yogic journey JOYE-fully celebrate body, mind and spirit.

Lindsay Mallers
200 RYT (Yoga Instructor) . Licensed Massage Therapist
Lindsay's yoga path became clear when her life took a new direction after becoming a regular practitioner of yoga and meditation in 2006. Her approach to teaching, whether it's vinyasa, yin yoga or any other style, is supported by her work as a massage therapist and Vipassana meditator where every level of the body, mind, and heart is tended to. She has also taught anatomy for several different RY200 teacher trainings over the years. She continues to deepen her own yoga practice and teachings through education in energy and bodywork therapy, yoga workshops. and intensive meditation. Lindsay believes her role as a teacher is to facilitate healing as the body's own intelligence knows how to restore itself when given the guidance and space to heal.
